Public-market `control points` in LATAM payments are limited.
The cleanest listed `cross-border rails` exposure is `dLocal`.
`Mercado Pago` matters because it combines merchant distribution, wallet scale, and acquiring inside the `Mercado Libre` ecosystem, but that is not the same as owning region-wide payment rails.
Brazilian acquirers can be good businesses without being true control points.
Keep the list narrow. Do not turn this into a general `fintech winners` memo.
